SignUpGenius (SUG) is a software program used by the Clay Studio to create the monthly Monitor Sign-up Calendar used by the Clay Studio members and the Service and Membership Committees.
The SignUpGenius (SUG) software program is supported and operated by the Monitor Committee’s SignUpGenius Subcommittee members.
The SignUpGenius (SUG) Subcommittee Chair creates a monthly monitor calendar.
The calendar is generally created mid-month so that adjustments may be made if needed.
However, it must be created before the last 3 days of the month to allow trainers to sign up before the calendar is opened to monitor sign-ups.
Monitors may sign up on or after the 1st of the month. Monitors may sign up once per month.
Monitors needing to do an extra shift in a month must notify the SUG Subcommittee Chair (if an empty slot exists) to be signed up for that shift.
Workshops, committee meetings and classes can be added to the calendar.
Three months of calendars are available at any time.
The previous month’s calendar is archived after the Service Committee reports are complete. It can be returned to a live calendar status at any time.
Member – Once a person has completed the Intro To Clay Class, the Membership Coordinator informs the SUG Chair of their new membership. Member information remains in this classification and is copied to other categories.
Monitor - After a person has completed monitor training a form is given to the SUG Chair, the member is added to the monitor category, and the member may sign up to monitor.
Trainer - Members who have been certified to train new monitors are added to the trainer category and are allowed to sign up as trainers.
