  1. Clay Storage:
    1. Members may store clay in their personal storage area or in the following:
      1. Wheel Room-bottom 2 shelves.
      2. Sculpture Room-the wire rack.
      3. Main Room-the bottom row of shelves on the south side & the shelves across from the Monitor station marked “Clay Storage”.
      4. Fiesta Drying Room-bottom shelf of the wire rack.
    2. Clay stored out of a member’s Storage space is limited to 2 clay size bags and they must be clearly marked with member name and neatly wrapped. Unmarked bags or more than 2 bags on studio shelves will be removed.
    3. Members who will not be using the Studio for 2 consecutive months should remove their tools, clay and apron from the Studio.
  2. Personal Storage:
    1. Any active member may obtain a Storage Space. Each space is numbered, and members record their number in the Storage Book, the Service Book, and tag their Space with their name.
      1. Members must surrender their Storage Space if they have been inactive for 2 consecutive months, or they are leaving for more than 2 months. Members in violation of this policy will be notified by email and given 10 days to retrieve their items. After 10 days items will be placed on the lunch table and marked “FREE”.
    2. Storage spaces claimed by members but left empty will be assigned to any member desiring that space.
    3. Members who will not be using the Studio for 2 consecutive months should remove their tools, clay and apron from the Studio.
    4. Members may store clay in their personal storage area or in the following:

  3. Aprons:
    1. Aprons may be stored in the hall and hung on pegs. First and last name must be on them.
    2. Members who will not be using the Studio for 2 consecutive months should remove their tools, clay and apron from the Studio.
  4. Projects Stored on Shelves:
    1. Projects that are currently drying, between firings, or being glazed may be stored on the shelving lining the walls in the Studio. Small glaze cups that members are currently using may sit next to the item.
    2. Items being worked on should be tagged with the member’s name and the date. Tag with white paper and a clothespin. Do not put tape on shelves or racks. Untagged items or dates over 30 days will be considered abandoned and will be removed to the patio. *Sculpture pieces will be allowed 60 days before first firing--fired items get 30 days.
    3. Members should always place items on an appropriate size shelf.
    4. Classroom storage is for items being completed in classes and workshops. If you want to work on a piece before or after class, you should move it to another room. You may not enter the classroom if there is a meeting or class going on.
  5. Items in the Holding Room:
    1. Items not removed from the holding room within 15 days will be considered abandoned and removed to the patio.
  6. Sculpture Pieces:
    1. Sculpture pieces have priority for space in the Sculpture Room.
    2. Items being worked on should be tagged with the member’s name and the date. Tag with white paper and a clothespin. Do not put tape on shelves or racks. Untagged items or dates over 30 days will be considered abandoned and will be removed to the patio. *Sculpture pieces will be allowed 60 days before first firing--fired items get 30 days.
  7. Classroom Storage:
    1. Classroom storage is for items being completed in classes and workshops. If you want to work on a piece before or after class, you should move it to another room. You may not enter the classroom if there is a meeting or class going on.
    2. The Instructor’s Cupboard in the Classroom has 2 sections: 1 section for Intro to Clay and one for any other classes currently being taught. (Cupboard space for non Intro classes must be cleaned out when class is over).
